Repair Advice

Last Last nights storm knocked a tree down onto my '03 186. See attached pics. Any advice on this repair. I'm in So. FL and will not go to Riveria Beach even if paid to.

Do a search for "Plastic Welding" and I am sure you will find some excellent info on tools and supplies. I just read some before I read your post but wasn't paying attention to which forum I was in, sorry. Pretty interesting website at Urethane Suppliers. Not sure of spelling but that is in the aforementioned posts. If it was me I would want to have someone verify the hulls structural integrity but thats just my opinion. Good luck.

Unhappy Oh Boy

If you send the pics to Triumph, they may say what I am thinking. I don't think that crack is repairable.

Call the insurance company and purchase a new hull.

Good luck.

You have me worried now. I'm digging out my insurance policy.
How do I send this thread to Triumph?

Ok, here are 2 more after cleanup.

Now it doesn't look as bad. Trolling motor took a beating, as did the hood of my car, but I don't see any other hull damage.

Like has been said. Get the pictures to Triumph and call your insurance company. I don't think this is something you want to be messing with yourself. This is just the damage you can see. There may be more problems under that.

From the factory:

The first thing I would do is make sure they are contacting their insurance company. Then their nearest Triumph dealer to check their master service dealer status (whether or not they are equipped to repair the hull). I would make sure their adjuster is in the loop first though.

A Master Service Dealer has invested in specific equipment and received factory training in stuff like repairing and welding Roplene. BTW I checked and if you are referring to Shelter Bay then they are a master service dealer.
