Unhappy Damage from a Dock

I just purchased a 02 190 Bay and the previous owner hit the dock a few times. I just replaced the bump rail today and it looks great.

Is there any thing i can do about theses minor scratches on the sides? Some are very shallow 1/32" and a couple is about 1/8" deep by about 12" long. They look pretty bad but are strictly cosmetic.

Scratches

Search for plastic welding in the forum search. You will find tons of info to help you.

I consider them battle scars and wear them proudly. Show them off to all of your buddies that have fiberglass boats and watch them cringe in pain. Sure they can be fixed but are probably not worth the time and $$ to do so.

Tight lines.

I ran my hand down the starboard side of my boat this weekend when I was doing a bunch of work on it. Replacing gauges, cleaning up wiring, new fish finder, all sorts of fun stuff. Anyway found a lot of scars, might sand/weld them out some day, but ultimately they don't matter, so why bother. I didn't buy a plastic boat to look pretty, I bought it because it's the "toughest boat on earth". ;-)
