I just purchased a 02 190 Bay and the previous owner hit the dock a few times. I just replaced the bump rail today and it looks great.
Is there any thing i can do about theses minor scratches on the sides? Some are very shallow 1/32" and a couple is about 1/8" deep by about 12" long. They look pretty bad but are strictly cosmetic. |

I ran my hand down the starboard side of my boat this weekend when I was doing a bunch of work on it. Replacing gauges, cleaning up wiring, new fish finder, all sorts of fun stuff. Anyway found a lot of scars, might sand/weld them out some day, but ultimately they don't matter, so why bother. I didn't buy a plastic boat to look pretty, I bought it because it's the "toughest boat on earth". ;-)
