About my Triumph

Posted 04-22-2009 at 03:41 PM by wpschaef

The boats name is Hot Side Dish because my wife said it was as bad as my having another woman on the side. Who would have thought!

I use the boat for trout fishing in several N. California lakes, Bass fishing in the San Juaquin/Saramento River Delta and lakes, Striper fishing in the delta and the SF Bay, Halibut fishing in the SF Bay. I intend to go after Kokonee salmon sometime this year as well as a possible excursion to the Pacific if conditions are good. I am not that comfortable with going out in the ocean yet.

The boat;
170CC w/ Yamaha 4s 75hp, (sweet)

Bob's Machine Shop stabilizer plate, (big difference after the prop change)

Stainless prop factory size but has more cup requiring cutting of trim tab/anode

Minn Kode Terrova w/ Co-Pilot, 80lb thrust 24v with batteries under console

Lowrance 520C with depth/fishfinder, engine integration and Hotmaps chip

Compass mounted where dash cupholder was and added 6 cupholders around the boat

Uniden Solara DSC Radio integrated to the Lowrance unit

2 side mount unmatched Cannon downriggers that mount in the aft rodholders

Factory options; Bimini top, all the cushions, swim platform, bow casting seat

Bow rail modified for trolling motor installation, added canvas splash guards to rails

Easy Troller flip down hinged trolling plate

    Sounds like the "Hot Side Dish" is ready and willing to do what ever you ask of her. Nice set up.
