Dick, the decals on my 2004, 191SC were not properly applied and are coming off (the factory didn't put enough 3M 94 primer - I had them replace them and have given up hoping they will do it right).

If I was interested in purchasing new ones, how much are the Triumph and striping decals?

Have you ever seen or heard of a 3M product that could be put over the Triumph decals to protect them from abrasion, rock chips, etc.? I think they make something, but I haven't been able to get a part number or source. I'm thinking it would be a clear film especially designed to protect graphics.

Thanks!

Charlie, I'll have to check on the price of decals and striping on the191s. What we have is the older triumph stuff. I'll also see if there in any covering that can be put over the decals. We haven't seen the problems here at MM that you have and do not know of anything other than 94 primer that works. 94 primer is expensive stuff and has a short shelf life

Merritt Marine Still selling Triumph boats?

Hello,

I just discovered Triumph boats and was very interested. Many websites have links to www.merrittmarine.com as the location of all of the information on these boats.

However, whenever I go that website, all I get is last month's clearence sale ad. Are you still selling these boats?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Alan

Thanks for the reply and assistance, Dick. The issue isn't the 94 primer, it's the factory's unwillingness to put enough on to make sure that the decals really stick well. I applied my own reg numbers, boat name, and 'ruler/scale' decal and haven't had any problems with them sticking.

While your checking on the decals, please check on the "191 Side Console" decal that's located on the starboard side of the console, above the gunwhale.

Alan, We at merritt Marine are just a couple of old guys, who know zip about computers and rely on friends to do stuff like the web site. We threttened to drill holes in his boat if he doesn't fix our site. But he must own a welder since it's still not fixed. Bear with us on the site, We know boats.

Dick,

I have a '01 186 and have lost a good bit of my decals. How much are the new ones and how long does it take to install them. BTW, it was purchased at your place.

Dick,
Have you had any luck getting pricing on the decals? Also, I need a new MASTER POWER rocker switch and rod locker lock (same one that's used on the console storage compartments). Can you help?

Thanks!
