Dolphin and King love heavy metal! When fishing off NC my radio is on 105.5 WXQR. It used to be called the animal when I was growing up in Jacksonville but it is called something else now. But, they still play the heaviest rock around. Tool, Disturbed, Ozzy, Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, etc. is always blasting on my boat and I haven't been skunked yet!

I just read an article about the pulse of a depth sounder working....kinda like the bass of music maybe. Then some say the sounder will run other fish off like tarpon. I always rely on "Special Kitty" to get the job done with JB and cold refreshments. Works every time!

I never noticed any additional corrosion from the black box electrical current. It is measured in milli amps so I don't think it would be a problem.
