Back in the USA!

Hi all. I returned last night from a 23-day trip to Africa. I had limited access to the internet while gone so I want to thank Osprey Vic, cagrove, Putershark and Topsail Angler for keeping the site going while I was gone. Thank you guys! Thanks also to my wife for shipping out all the DVD orders while I was gone!

Now to wade through the thousands of emails awaiting my return. BTW I made some contacts in Africa and may be working on an "African Angler Adventure" for next fall with Tiger fishing on the Zambezi River and wild game safaris, etc. If anyone is interested in something like this let me know and I will post information on this possibility as the details unfold. It could be the trip of a lifetime.

On Sunday before flying out of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe I had a chance to "walk with the lions". Here are a couple of photos. These are not domesticated animals. They are wild animals in a conservation program designed to protect the species, as their numbers have dropped significantly in the past 30 years. It was an awesome experience to be that close to such a magnificent creature. I've also attached some photos of the Victoria Falls with elephants in the water and sunset on the Zambezi River as well as the Victoria Falls Hotel where we stayed the last night.

I hope you all have a blessed day and thank you for your participation on TriumphOwners.net.

Sounds and looks like a great trip. That lion in photo #2 doesn't look like he wanted to be friends? Or did he get a whiff of chum residue?

The lions preferred having new members of their pack behind them rather than in front of them. I was more comfortable behind too.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing. She said lets go, so now all we need in the money.

I didn't have a chance to go fishing. Only one day of the trip was set aside for "play". The rest was work.

You guys: Osprey Vic, cagrove, Putershark and Topsail Angler, did such a great job we didn't even know NC was out of the country! The site never missed a beat.

Thanks all and welcome back NC.

Those are awesome photos, Randy. That has to be a trip of a lifetime, for sure. Hmmm....Tigerfish....that one isn't on my list of fish already caught. May have to start saving some coins

No but they should! If Triumph Boats comes out of the Chapter 11 reorganization maybe we can help them get one there.
