Thumbs up Excellent Hat when it comes to staying cool!

And this one even works better than my Buff hat at keeping the sweat out of my eyes which was really nice since this one has a longer bill

Columbia Sportswear: Men's > Omni-Shade Collection > Big Splashâ„¢ II Ball Cap

Matter of fact, I did not even have to break out the chilly pad this past weekend to wipe my face off with and at 90 degrees, that says a lot...

Really hard though to beat Columbia PFG gear, and I have a ton of those shirts that I wear all the time! Now I was able to find a Redfish and other fish hats at the local Bells store... My buddy Bill though, after seeing mine and how light it was, and how he was so hot that had to take his normal cotton ball cap off to help stay cool, picked one up on his way home after our fishing trip

Many people not knowing, covering up with sun screen that does very little when it comes to really staying cool for it will slow down your ability to sweat.... One is much better off wearing the correct technical gear, and only putting sun screen on areas that are always exposed. As an example, this is why I wear long sleeve shirts and do not worry about putting sun screen on my arms and I stay that much cooler in the process

So for you guys like me roasting out on the flats, try one I think you will be very happy with your choice

Tight Lines!
