Lightbulb Snook Fishing Trip?

We have been kicking around this club thing for a long time, too long... I think to help get it rolling is to plan a quick fishing trip just to get everybody together.

I am thinking everybody who is interested, just meet at one of the local ramps early one Saturday morning (if not this next week even) to go chase down some Snook, Tarpoon, and the real warriors of the pass "Jacks"

Afterwards we can all raft up, pitch a few water bottles back and forth, lie about what we lost, and then chit chat about the next step in forming a local club

Other thoughts / ideas ?

Well, it appears that this weekend is going to be a wash out (Thank God we need the rain) so that gives us some more time to plan something if there is any interest in doing such? Or this weekend meeting some place like Jorge's Seafood Grille to have a planning session...

Just let me know

I think it is time to try and at least plan some short fishing trips again. Maybe some "share" trips to swap fishing styles and boat ideas and help offset some fuel expense with others who fish the very same way (inshore / Offshore, lure only, etc).

This way (if nothing more) fewer boats need need to get cleaned up afterwards

Other ideas?

No biggie,
I have pretty much given up on the whole club idea anyway since I do not not have the time to really put it all together

I had the same feeling early last year on the Triangle Club. It really needs some other folks to step in and make it happen. Between this site and promoting three summer TBOT's just not enough energy left for developing a local club. Maybe some other folks will step up to do that. I think most of us though are struggling to find enough time to be on the water with our families or fishing, much less taking on another monthly event.

Amen to that Randy...

So if anybody in the Tampa Bay area want to take the point on getting a local club started, feel free and I will help out as best as I can. There is already some postings with some ideas you may be able to use.

Randy, Vic, and myself though are just running out of bandwidth I am sorry to say
