It appears the only thing slipping around here is me , I'd just upgraded to a new Garmin 250C fishfinder and had decided to hardwire my garmin GPS to the fishfinder so they'd talk.

I figured I'd be able to get selected GPS info displayed on the FF screen and one was set at nautical miles and the other was set at statute miles and in order to get it to work I had to change the parameters on one of them.

So it got changed to knots and as you know... 1 knot = 1.150 779 448 mile/hour (mph), and 26 knot = 29.920 265 649 mile/hour (mph)

I figured out that it was the "Eye dee ten tee" behind the steering wheel that had slipped rather than the prop hub .
