Question Hummingbird matrix 47 3D

I was thinking of replacing my Lowrance X-88 with the new 3D finder from Humming bird.
The problem is no store in the area has one to look at. I the only info i can get is from catalogs. Is this a good finder or should i stay with the X-88. MY X-88 just does not seem to be working very well. I fish in salt water in a river and in the ocean as deep as 400' for cod & haddock.
Any info would help.

Thanks,
tim

I had my eye on them also, notice a greyscale 3d Hummingbird fishfinder no gps "on sale" online at BoatersWorld with free barometric pressure sensor for $499. The bigger color version with gps looks nice. Think they are trying to improve their "saltwater" image so maybe they will be a better product. I would think that could be found soon for @$1,499 listing for $1,999 but still waiting to actually "find" one for sale. They're made in Eufaula, Alabama but have historically been on the lower end of quality/durability.
