why it is important to have spare weapons

Well, after my opening day hunt that I posted, I noticed my shotgun would not manually eject shells..HUH??, When I got home to clean the gun, I noticed a scew missing. So I take it to my local gun smith only to have him tell me; Your gun is broken..like duh . They further told me a piece fell out in the shop, and said they must send it back to the factory...thank goodness for warrenty. HOWEVER; It could take up to 8 plus weeks to get it back... thats my favorite shotgun. so the Morale of this story is that I learned my lesson a long time ago...so I have a back up ..it's just not a nice one.

Guess what? The UGLY back up probably goes BANG ......... Beauty is something that works everytime, all the time. Good Luck, and what type of gun was it? This may be a problem that other members may need to look into! Boost

It is a knock off of the benelie...it is a stoeger model 2000.... it has the benelie fireing mechanism, with a barretta barrel.....first year the choke tube froze in the barrel I could not remove...BEFORE you say Yes I clean and remove after each hunt....The factory relaced the barrel under warrenty. they told me it is a freak thing. something to do with unsparked power that gets into the threads, then finnally does get fired and fuse's the steel. wierd huh?

But I recommend this gun to anyone, 1/3 the cost and you get the best of to guns so 2 speak...great pattern, and VERY light.
