11-08 -2008 Duck Hunt...getting cold

Winter is deffinately getting here. It was a Brisk 42 degrees at night and early morning. I went out alone this trip, kinda boring camping at night, Well I did have a few visiters during the course of the night, First was a fox scouting for any food left overs, then about Midnight I here a slight commotion, I hesitated to venture forth...But I did, and I found 5 HUGE raccoons going through my Pringles chips...too funny.
It was a slow day on the pond, I had a large flock fly in early, and land outside the kill zone...But I was able to get 2 doubles.... And a single. First was a double on Redheads, A Drake, and a Hen. The next was a double on gadwalds, A Drake and a Hen....then a few misses here and there, and the final for the day was a drake Ringneck.

First picture shows a blurry decoys out, next will be of the ducks outside the kill zone, also blurry. 3rd picture is of the sunrise and shoot time. Followed by the doubles in the boat , and then the final counts.
