an aesthetics issue

I have picked up a lot of great ideas and made several modifications that I learned from this website. But now I need some advise on a problem that no one else seems to have. I own a 2001 Logic 210cc, and I am having an aesthetics problem. The aft section of the starboard side of the boat bulges out. It's not enough to cause a navigation problem or anything like that, but it just doesn't look right. It doesn't provide nice smooth lines for the boat. I've searched the website for several months to see if someone else has had a similar situation with their boat, but it doesn't seem to be an issue with anyone except me. I thought maybe the problem is caused by water in the inner hull. Maybe it's a weak point in the wall structure. I plan to add a drain modification this winter. I would appreciate any suggestions anyone has on this issue.

I have a 2002 210. She has similar problems, but on both sides. it is more of a warpping. I have been told it was when the roplene cooled down that cause's this. Since 2003 they fixed the problem by adding ridge lines through the center of the sides of the boat. HMMMnnn Just off bt one year. I have a friend who bought a used one, and also bought the warrenty transfer, he said he got the manufacture to warrent the repairs...as far as I
know he has not sent it back yet. I will try on tuesday to ask him. Send me a PM to remind me. At work I always find time to visit the site.

the ridge lines were added when triumph changed the high density foam formula and found out it heated up as it cured and the sides had to be stiffened to account for the heating up of the foam. as for the bulging this is the first i recall but hopefully it came be resolved with the factory as it shouldnt be doing it enough to be noticable when looking at the side. i would get it to a dealer and let them look it over as i don't think it has anything to do with water in the inner hull.
just my $.05.
GGC

P.S. you can drag it down to NC when we have our local owners meeting and get the answer first hand!!!!

jferras,
I own the same era Logic 210, I'd be interested in seeing a photo of this "bulging". As far as I know I have never had this problem with mine, would like to check it out.

The boat is at the marina on the Potomac near Lewisetta. I'm going up there next weekend, and I'll take some photos. Julian
