New 2000 17 ft logic owner

I recently purchased a used 2000 17 ft Logic. It is an open that was converted to a side console. It has a 50 hp Mercury engine. I also have 2 external tanks in the back. The tanks side at a bit of an angle that limits the amount of fuel that is usable from each tank. Does anyone out there own an older 17 ft open that can suggest new tanks for me to get? Thanks Midwestblues

Congrats on your new boat. Hope you post some photos of your boat.

Can't help you on the tank situation though. You may look at West Marine's website and see what they have as far as aux tanks go.

I don't really know what Prop is on the motor but over this last week we were able to get the boat up to 32 mph at 5400 rpm. This was lightly loaded with one adult and 2 children.

Hi there. I've had a 2000 170cc logic, that I'v ehad for about 2 years now. I love it. I just stumbled across this site. Does anyone know where I can get a bow rail for this boat? and is there any recommended mtx/care for the hull?

I think the new bow rail for the 17 foot will fit your 2000. My local dealer stated that he could have one shipped from the factory. they ship the rail inside a boat so it does not get bent. The price for the 17 foot bow rail is about $550.00. I just looked into this about 3 weeks ago. I decided from that price I would not bother. - Good luck
