scuppers

Iam looking for better and improved scuppers. Viewed a post and a photo on buckbill scuppers. The photo was from Il-logoc-al. They may be just the thing I am looking for. If you have installed them, how well do they work? And where did you purchase them? Al can you help?

Exclamation

Then they do not know how to look through their own online catalog By just dropping off the letter "s" at the end of the word, this was the first page I pulled up which has what you are looking for I think

http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...key=SiteSearch

Let me know if does not show the product you are looking to buy and I will keep searching

Enjoy!

hey j

the ball style scuppers i had on my 01 210cc were so badly worn where the ball was suppose to seal at the transom that water was running in and filling the rear fish boxes and deck.

one of our mackfest boaters who was down from new york state had a different style ball scup that had his transom and deck dry. i have since misplaced the brand and model number of those scups and opted for the duckbill style just to see if they would work and to stay on long enough to get those smaller ball scups on.
the ducks had done a surprisingly good ,but i'm afraid they may trap a piece of whatever and get stuck open which would be no better than the old ball style
so far so good

So far, ball scuppers have worked best for me. Whale makes a one way valve scupper that has a duck bill scupper inside but, the size of the duck bill is too small to let water out rapidly without unscrewing it.`
