Lightbulb tracking down water intrusion on my 210cc

I open the access holes in the front floor bins where they cut a hole to mount the console in front and i notice i had a some water in the foam inside the hole. The problem is water is leaking underneath the console there was a lot of moisture under the console i am going to run a line of sealant around the console to see if that helps. I know i have water in the hull but it don't seem to be excessive amount of it. If that helps i am going to pull the live well and console out off season let the foam dry out put it all back together with a case of rule.

You might want to check on the 210 forum and see if there is a place where you can drill an inner hull drain.

I made one on my 190 since water will enevitably make it to the inner hull thru screw holes or something. Since the inner hull is filled with foam, only a few gallons can probably get there but like you, I prefer a dry inner hull.

good luck, don't sweat it too much, I boated for a whole season with a crack in my hull and it didn't hurt a thing...these boats can take it and float high in the water...always.

Molar

PS I Rule my entire deck every season so go ahead and buy a case....it is worth it.
