Lightbulb Mounting height and trim angle (Logic) 170CC

Good day forum listers :-)
My partner and i just bought a 98 Logic 17 CC and it has a Yamaha 85 / 2stroke / 3 cylinder. The engine has an hydrofoil. So far we could use the boat only twice so I don't have all the feeling of it yet but here are my comments leading to questions; thanks for your input.

With that power the boat gets on the plane in seconds of course and then i searched for the best trim settings. I found the boat rides quite flat very quickly and i have the impression nose down. I am concerned when the sea will be stronger and with some waves. I have used the trim to raise it a bit but have not reached porpoising and the engine was cavitating already. I am wondering if the engine is not set too high and the trim cannot play at speed.

My main two questions are: (1) what is the best mounting height so i can verify it and correct it if applicable and (2) what is the optimum angle transom / engine vertical so i can set the holding bar close to that position.
Thanks for the help and congratulation for a very lively and instructive forum.

Sorry, in my first posting i was meaning "I have tried to use the trim to raise the bow a bit but have not achieved significant results, not reached porpoising and the engine was cavitating already.
