Question what do you use to seal dash and other panels

Hi , New logic 17cc owner here and you experienced owners have taught me about rule adhesive. Do you have to use Rule on removable parts like the dash panel or can you use things like Life Caulk? Your advice is appreciated, Thanks

Sealant

If you are trying to seal a part that is going to be rarely removed, use Rule as normal. However, if the art is going to be frequently removed (like an inspection or access panel) use the Rule sealant to create a faying surface. Basically, you make two uniform beads of sealant, one on each of the sealing surfaces and let the sealant cure fully before attaching the part. The when you attach the part the two beads will create a pressure seal against each other.

Smile Thanks

I thought I was going to have to cut a rubber gasket as the wiring is a work in progress and the dash will be on and off for a while. Many thanks
