Perception about your boat?
I've had a very interesting journey with my boat. I bought my Logic 210CC in July of 2000. This is my first boat. I've had some serious issues with the console being loose, and what I'll describe as very poor fit and finish, and quality control issues. At some point I swore to myself that I'd never buy another boat from Triumph.
Then something interesting happened. I started shopping for a new boat, and realized that I liked/loved my boat alot more than I was aware of. As I look at my boat at 8 years old, it more or less looks like it did when I bought it. Furthermore, it looks really close to the newest 210/215s. I have noticed a strong commitment to fit/finish and quality that has evolved over the years. I've also looked at fiberglass boats, both new, used, and fiberglass boats that were made in 2000. I have to say that my boat has held up very well over time, better than its fiberglass counterparts, even premium brands. My 2000 has really delivered on the promises that were made when I bought it. It has been up on a boat dock (not so funny story), been out 40 miles, been beached many times (intentionally). Some days I've regretted not buying another brand, but not alot. I believe that brands that were similarly priced would have been a poorer ownership experience over time. I also have to say that my dealer is great. He sells boats that cost $500K and up, yet I always feel like the most important customer they have. Just curious about others journeys... |

I have only had my boat since March. Last weekend I was on the Illinois river and as I pulled up to the dock at the boat ramp and there were 10 boats waiting to get to the dock to unload people so i pulled up to the shore that was covered with 1 to 2 foot round rocks. You could feel the boat slamming into the rocks in the wake of the boats speeding by. In any other boat you would be crying but in a triumph you just smile. The looks I get from the other boaters is priceless.
