Fuel Tank problem on 01 Logic solved

Just wanted you guys to know that that we fiqured it out and it was one of the six inch screws used to hold down the edges of the deck plate got screwed into the tank lol. The boat had been in the shop five weeks ago to get a new fuel sender and replace the control cables they took the plate out and forgot where that one screw went. I guess they will be more carfull when using power drills lol. Needless to say I am happy I get to go fishing next weekend.

Good To Hear It Was Human Error And Not Structual. Although Any Error Is Not A Good Deal.
Rule Of Thumb For 210cc Owners === Long Screws Always Go On The Outside Of Anything You Screw Down ESPECIALLY On The
Rear Deck Cover===

How did you fix the leak? The tank is not repairable. It's crosslink polyethylene, very strong stuff.

Shore Man
If You Dont Need 85 Gallons To Get The Range You Fish In I Would See If Dick Has A Seventy Instead. By Doing This You Can Put A Bottom Drain In The Livewell Instead Of Having It Run On The Deck And Re Plumb The Bilge Hose So It Dont Rest On The S.s Strap That Runs In The Middle Of The Bilge And There Would Be More Room To Put An Extra Bilge Pump . I Want My 85 Out So Bad I Cant Stand It ,but It Is More Work And Cost Than I Want To Undertake At This Time

this picture of osprey's boat and you will show you how much more room you get for 15 gallons less gas going with a 70 gal tank.

An adverage day ofshore for me is 100miles plus. I am going back with the 86 gal tank but the room would be nice. Thanks for all the info this does help me make better decisions. Mack
