please post 1 mod at a time with year ,model ,and mod

in an effort to have an archive of changes, do you guys agree that we post each mod as a seperate topic with the year of your boat, the model of your boat and a title that can be easily recognized on the topic page.by doing it this way , we dont have to have articles written but rather a listing in this section that identifies ecactly what was done to what boat of which year.
examples would be as follows:
1) 01 186 check valves for 186/190 with side scuppers
or
01 210cc mega hatch drain problem
or
01 210cc bilge pump hose /s.s. strap fix
or
01 210cc t-top leg thrubolt locations(no anchor plate in floor)
or
01 186/190 t-top leg thru bolt locations(no anchor plate in floor)
or
01 210c s.s. bar relocation for rear cover plate.
or
01 186/190 side plates filling with water

i think you get my drift. this way owners can view the index and see each mod/improvement and be able to go to that specific one rather than the way it is now with owners adding several different questions on a particular thread and before you know it we got 5 things going on on 1 thread. everybody should jump in on a topic and thumbnail pics and/or add what or how you did your boat. and some one get it started!!!
i am thinking about the future as new owners join ,they will already have the mods listed rather than seeing the same questions show up every month.

you can come here with a question and then change the title to what the answer ends up being after the fix.

probably would be the right way to do all mods both here and on the triumph modification section as well.

don't want this to turn into a contest with folks and i may have been out of line to even suggest this section, but once we get the fixes posted ,this section will always be here for the future.

If you can pardon the pun, posting a new thread for a new problem sounds LOGICal to me.

1 mod at a time

Great idea.

Being around for some time on both forums, I got lost in discussions. might be something to do with the gray hair LOL.

unk' jess--it's got nothing to do with the grey hair!!!i'm also a vet from the old site and like you we could never get a mod totally worked through without a dozen more getting started on that thread. this way there will be a "table of contents" of everthing on the main topic page and any owner can then choose which one to view.
i got to spend weekend with my last daughter's graduation and i hope to get started putting all mine down once i get back to town.

Hey guys,
We have been sliding from this system for quite some time not only for the older Logical boat section (which does not have extra hull sections) but for all threads. As of such, it is making it harder for me to find and sort posting to their correct fourms... I have to be very subjective many times when the threads have more than one topic as to the best place to file them.

I would like to ask everybody to please review your postings and make sure that your titles include such and if you find one that needs to be moved or removed, please drop me a note and I will be more than happy to review them.

Also take into consideration that many posts start out in the general topics or questions for Carl that once have answers I will move to their respective sections. Here again, using titles like "Hey Carl" though funny in many such instances, force me to read though and try to sort them later on which is not always possible... So your help in doing such is most appreciated as we keep building and improving our knowledge base here

Thanks much!
