There is so much rain happening today i looked in the rear storage boxes and the water was almost at the top of them. I would like to keep trim pump dry as possible submerging the pump is not a great idea. I have been looking for some kinda weather striping to apply to the doors but nothing i have seen could me used to keep out water. maybe i should fill the water channel with rtv sealant to stop water from being able to enter the boxes. Open for any suggestions.

Man I wish I could give you a answer. I own a 210 and have the same problem with the rear fish boxes.I get no water in the front 2 boxes but the ones in the rear are a problem. I've changed the weather stripping and it helped a bit but I still get water in them. When I bought my boat I found a small bilge pump with a 6' piece off tubing on the outlet and a couple battery clamps on the wiring, i'm willing to bet the owner used it to pump out his rear fish boxes.

Sorry,
RTV won't stick on this hull material for very long... So keeping rain out is hard, but not impossible (dang expensive though) but having a custom boat cover made out of Sunbrella material will work wonders. The water runs off of my cover like water off of a duck's back. Now for the water that does make it in, you need to jack the boat bow up on the trailer as high as you can get it, then put a block under the jack and take it some more, this so it will drain all the water into the bilge. Without a cover though, you not going to keep them dry with the way the factory positioned the drains so high off of the bottom. As far as the Mega Hatch goes, to keep stuff dry (once you vac it all out) you need both the either make or buy false floor upgrade and the use of those yellow pratice sponge golf balls (couple bucks for a bag of them at Wal Mart) to plug up the drain so bilge water cannot flow forward from the bilge into it again works very well. You can see a picture of this setup that I posted in the 210 modifaction gallery here http://www.triumphowners.org/photos/...cat/500/page/1 since I cannot post the picture link to it in this note and get it to pull the picture for some unknown reason? Hope this helps?
