Navionics

I'm looking at the Navionics Hot maps cartridge for my gps. It is the one for coastal Texas. Does anybody have any experience with these? Are they worthwhile? I don't really know enough about them to make an informed decision. Thanks

Ditto here to?? Any opinions??

Considering Nauti-Path at Boaters World for $99 or Navionics Gold w/ Fishing Chip. TO be used primary in NJ waters with trips to NC Outerbanks.

Anybody have an opinion for coverage between the two mapping cartidges?

I have Nautic Path also, great detail, can't imagine needing anything more for fishing or short cruising.

I am trying to figure out if I will need both the coastal and the lake chips for California as I am out in the sacramento / San Jauquin delta and the lakes as well. This could get pretty expensive. I'm new to GPS stuff.
