eagle seachamp 2000 DF

I installed an eagle depthfinder and gps unit I bought previous to the boat. Found it in January half price from BW online. I installed a navionics hot map and also run a mapcreate chip for poi and roadmaps.
I fished Lake Wylie the last friday night and would have been seriously lost had I not had my gps trails. I crossed several areas with four creek choices. They looked very similair at 2am.
The depthfinder is a work in progress. I am putting my seat time in working with the settings.
I would really like the fuel mgmt system with lowrance but not available with this eagle model.
Later,
Lindsay

Thumbs up Gps...

Definitely spend the time to Waypoint your ramp, and any relevant markers/turning points... and make sure you use names that will make sense at 2am. Anytime I'm in unfamiliar water, I go overboard and bookmark everything, boat ramp, icw turns, sea buoy etc...

At the end of a long day, the last thing you want to do is spend hours trying to find the ramp.
