Lightbulb Oil Filter Mag

For you 4 stroke guys, I have been reading a lot of test results on this product http://www.filtermag.com/index.php and it sounds "logical" especially if you have spent any amount of time with a wrench in your hand, and know that many stock oil and transmission drain plugs have magnets built in already

I talked to one of the owners of the company in depth about the design and their future plans, testing, and FAA certification for aircraft engines which I thought was very interesting... Mostly Lycoming engines for you aircraft guys on the board

Now I just got mine the other day and the RA250 model fits perfect on the stock Honda oil filter for the BF150 engine. I mounted mine on the bottom of the filter and went with the heavy duty model to make sure it stays on the engine, as I go over waves when running the passes.

It may be a while before I can see how much metal mine is holding since I just changed my oil, but I may just run the hotter summer months with it in place and then do a early oil change so I can cut the filter open early for an inspection. Nice to know though that I have the extra protection in place and may also consider mounting one on both of our trucks in the near future

Found some updated video on this product tonight and yes, mine is doing a fine job keeping the Mobil 1 motion lotion in my crankcase just that much cleaner
