Any thoughts on a Turning Point Prop?

Hello fellow boaters,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a Turning Point aluminum prop?

Last Sunday I was running at a fairly slow speed when I grounded the lower unit and kind of hammered the leading edge of my prop on a sand bar.

It chewed up the edge of the prop.

I spoke to Boaters World today and they said they can have it reconditioned and back to me in a week for about $60.00.

That sounded reasonable to me but I felt that this would be a good time to get a spare prop. Researching several companies I thought I might go with the Turning Point, and have my reconditioned prop as the spare.

Anyone have any good or bad experience with these props?

Thanks,

Tampafrank
