Cool Cleaner for Roplene

I just purchaed a new 2005, 210 center console and I was wondering what type of
cleaner(s) do you use for cleaning the inside of the boat?

My windshield is also scratched bad and I would like a glass replacement, does anyone know if they are available?

I use Dawn dish soap to wash down the boat after I use Salt Away on practically everything. Then when I get it home I typically powerwash it down just to make sure it's clean.

Go to the "Search" link in the menu above and type in 'clean' or 'cleaning' as there are several threads with suggestions. You might check with your local Triumph dealer or send an email to the folks at Merritt Marine (http://www.merrittmarine.com) about the windshield. They have a "Parts Request" link on their website and an online Ship Store but I don't see any windshields in the store yet. But they've only had it online for a few weeks. They've got more Triumph stuff over there than the factory does I think!

Cleaner For Roplene

Hey, Orcas Just Wanted To Chime I And Let You Know What I Use On My 170cc. I Use A Cleaner Called Grease Lightning You Call Buy It At Any Store. I Get It By The Gallon At Walmart For About Six Or Seven Dollars. I Spray It On Scrub The Bad Spots And Hit It With The Pressure Washer And Like Magic The Boat Looks Like It's Off The Showroom. And About Your Windsheild Before I Would Pay For A New One I Would Use An Plastic/acrylic Polish. I Work On Aircraft For A Living And We Use It Alot To Take The Haze And Sratches Off Parts Like This. I'll Check When I Go To Work On Wensday What Brand We Use And Send You A E-mail. Hope This Helps!!! P.s. With The Little Black Marks That Seem To Grow In The Poors Of The Roplene I Just Put The Tip Of The Pressure Washer Real Close To The Surface Works Everytime For Me.

Great feedback SUCHFUN. I hope you'll post that information about the windshield cleaner for all of us with scratches to benefit from.

Suchfun maybe talking about a Micro-Mesh kit. I've used it on my dive computer's protective plastic screen and it worked great. I got a used kit when I worked at Lockheed Aeromod back in the last century.

Try doing a search here:

Here are a couple of kits:

Hope that helps.

oxy clean

Just wondering.....anyone ever tried oxyclean? I had a buddy of mine tell me to put the powder on the floor, wet it down and use a brush to work it in. After about 5 min, rinse and it would be good as new....yet to try this, still using simple green.

SoftScrubs with bleach on hull and WoodyWax on the metal works well.

Remember, oxidizing agents like bleach and bleach substitutes can corrode or pit stainless steel if not rinsed promptly. I try to keep the SoftScrubs on the plastic but it does work much better with the bleach than without.

Wet 'n Shine will give your hull a sparkly shine but I wouldn't use it inside the hull.
X-14??mildew remover I think, is what I use on the vinyl seats and keeps them white.
I want to think it is a "bleach" substitute cleaner.
