Capt. Karl's 190 Bay

Many years and numerous boats ago, I began my search for the perfect Rough
Water, Shallow Flats, Rocky River fishing boat. The boat had to be able to
withstand these obstacles and the demanding long hard hours of use from my
guide service and provide my-self and clients a fishing platform that is
comfortable and versatile enough to fish for Largemouth, Smallmouth Bass and
Striper/Rockfish all on the same boat. The boat I was looking for had to
uncompromisingly provide my clients with a SAFE, Comfortable and Dry Ride
even in the worst conditions, you could call these demands and requirements
the Capt. Karl, test. Thanks to Hooked on the Bay, Inc. located in North
East, Maryland, I feel that I have finally found this boat I have so long
searched for in my Triumph 190 Bay, powered by a dependable Honda 4-Stroke
Outboard. One more great thing about this boat is that it's available to
every fisherman looking for the same features and demands as my-self, as it
is not some specially designed boat available to only a select few.

Thanks & Good Fishing, Capt. Karl Bunch

Welcome aboard Capt. Karl. That is a resounding endorsement of Triumph Boats from an owner that makes a living on his boat. Thank you for your perspective. We look forward to your posts and pictures on Triumphowners.net!

Capt. Karl, you put it into words so much better than I could. I wanted a safe boat that my teenage son could learn with, without me paying for a new gelcoat job every week.

I also wanted a boat that was easy for me to take care of, and as I got older and hit the dock a little hard, I would still not have to pay for that new gelcoat job.

My only regret is that I did not buy it sooner.

Welcome to this site, and enjoy your new plastic boat.

Smile 190 Bay

Captain Karl,

your opinion about the 190 bay makes me wish I had the ability to purchase one today. From the sound of it if I had one I could be out boating as we speak. It does not seem like weather would make much of a difference at all. Then again, I have had the pleasure of using the 215 chaos and a 170cc... both performed perfectly on every trip I took. It just seems like Triumph is the perfect boat for all areas of the north east... maybe even all areas of the world. They are not out of place when they say it is the world's toughest boat. Thank you for your input.

One of these days I will upgrade and am keeping my eyes open for a 190 Bay. My little 170 cool just is not quite big enough for me to be out in the Gulf as often as I would like. Love these boats!!
