Gator,
Congradulations on your new boat. I live in the Wilmington area. We have quite a few Triumph boats in the area. Have fun!

Great to know a wilmington truimph owner. I'm planning on putting my boat in at the Wrightsville bridge ramp; most of my fishing LY (in friends boat) was out of Masonboro......any other insight would be appreciated.

Gator,
The best insight I can give you since you'll be coming down for the week ends is to find a boat ramp on the Brunswick county side of the shoals. We have East facing beaches in New Hanover county (Wilmington), and we have South facing beaches in Brunswick county (Southport). Knowing where to put in may make a difference when you're coming down for a day or two. If the wind is blowing out of the South/Southwest fish Wrightsville beach and the winds will be offshore. If the wind is blowing out of the North put in at Southport or Long Beach and the winds will be offshore maybe saving the day for you. There are a few local websites that will give you a lot of insight in planing a trip; weather, whats biting, etc. Send me a private message if you're interested and I'll give them to you. I know you're chomping at the bit to get her wet!! Good luck.See you on the water!!

Hey Gator,

Are you gonna spend all your boating time on salt water? I live in Mooresville too, but plan to be on the lake mostly. It's to darn far from here to Wilmington. I'm a newbe to the Triumph boat owners network too. I'll be looking for you on the lake soon.

I'll leave my triumph in Wilmington; have a deck boat on the lake.
