Just bought a 17 cc

I looked at the boat on Friday and will be picking it up this week, hopefully tomorrow! It is a 17ft w/50 hp Yamaha 4 stroke, a steal at $3800. The hull is a 1999 and the motor is a 2000. The motor is in great condition and the hull is in decent shape. No major problems with the hull but it is dull and has some shallow scratches.
From what I've been told, a little wet sanding and a good job with a buffer will bring out the shine and get rid of any abrasions. If anyone has any suggestions for cleaning the boat up I would appreciate it.

Welcome to the web site.

Please check some thing out first. Contact Triumph and see what it takes to transfer the hull warranty or if that is even possible.

Try using the "Search" feature at the top. I tried the word "buffing" and found some good information.

With a little work, you should be able to get your hull looking a lot better.

You might consider some "before" and "after" pictures. Everyone likes pictures.

Again, welcome.
