Sorry to hear that but keep looking...you won't regret getting a plastic boat. Good luck with your search.

AstroDiver:
Where's the nearest Triumph dealer to Lake Lanier? I'll be keeping my 191 FS in Lake Oconee, but the nearest dealer I can find is about 150 miles away in SC. Would love to have a closer place for any future issues. |

Well, that's two people that have Triumphs on Oconee. Met one on the lake last year when I was there for a family event at my sister's lake house.
It's true that there are no dealers close by....but "Triumph is working on that", they say. I've been to visit Merrett Marine in NC and if I buy another Triumph in the future, I'll be getting it there. A Triumph is a good boat for Lanier or Allatoona as there is a lot of things to 'bump into' with the water problems we are having there. I was up on Lanier last Sunday to see the new islands. I launched from Old Federal. They have one ramp open. |

Hi guys,
Just upgraded my membership and noticed your thread. I live in Buford and have had my 190Bay since October 2002. I keep it on Lake Hartwell, but my favorite place to use it is on the flats around Steinhatchee, FL. Love those trout and reds!! I agree, we need some local dealer support, but Dick does such a great job with support from Merritt Marine that they would be my first choice for a purchase. Take care, and keep 'em wet! Hey Lee, yea Dick is great as I went up to see him a couple of years ago and got some good stuff for my boat. As you can see below, I have a Logic. Merritt Marine has lots of parts and supplies for the Logic boats.

Also Lee, I live in Marietta, GA and tow my boat mostly up to "Pond Lanier", as I'm calling it now. Every once in a while I may go to Lake Allatoona, like maybe this Sunday?
I've been to the NC coast; SC coast; Tybee Island, GA; FL Keys; Lake Jocassee, SC; TN, Suwannee River, FL to the Gulf of Mexico to name a few places. |
