NC Boaters Get Together This Year?

Alright, it looks like there have been a few attempts to get momentum going for a Triumph owners get together.

I say the summer of 2007 is the time!

Let's plan a rendezvous where we can meet up on the water, have a plastic raft-up potluck lunch, and then perhaps hit the water in several subgroups based upon activity (fishing, skiing, whatever).

We trailer everywhere from the Albemarle to Atlantic Beach to Jordan Lake. Depending upon where the bulk of people are wanting to go, we can choose a central location.

Let's do this!

I'm up for it (depending on the date). If y'all organize I'll try to be there to document with pictures. Jordan Lake is good for me.

One for Jordan Lake!

Hey NCangler, good to see ya. We just went to Jordan Lake for the first time last weekend. Nice lake; plenty nice coves like this one:

If it's going to be there, we should probably meet in the morning for activities rather than the afternoon.

Which day is better, a Saturday or a Sunday? I'm looking at my calendar right now, and the second half of July is wide open.

Hey, I didn't realize there was already an event going down in Southport next month.

Let me revise my suggestion to mid-August then for the Jordan lake get together.

Thumbs up

Yes I hope you can make the Triumph Owners Tournament in Southport, NC July 27-28. It should be a lot of fun and I think we'll have a significant number of Triumph owners and others interested in Triumph Boats there. The Triumph Dealers of the Carolinas along with Triumph Boats are sponsoring and organizing the event. I'm promoting it here but they are doing all the work! I'll be fishing in the offshore King Mackerel division but there is an inshore division for Flounder for those that would rather stay on the inside. Lots of giveaway stuff, good food, etc. There is an online registration form here:

Well, besides you NCAngler, nobody showed any interest for a Jordan Lake meetup. Not even a rain check for a later time.

Maybe I should try something more towards the coast?

I would think that Jordan Lake would be easier to organize than the coast but maybe not. Folks may just be busy. I know we're finishing up a very busy summer and getting three kids ready for school. But we may plan a camping trip to Jordan in a few weeks and to take the boat. If so I'll let you know. Thanks!
