Question NC Owners??

So just how many owners are from NC? I'm new to this site and also to the Saltwater Arena. I have Bass Fished all of my life and have started taking an extreme liking to the salty H20. If there is going to be any kind of meet and greet soon please let me know. I will be driving down this weekend and picking up my 190 Bay. Hope to hear back. JB

boostjunkie1,
Where are you picking up your 190 Bay? I live in Wilmington,NC. I give you some of my"secret" saltwater fishing spots if you'll bring me a pound of chopped Bar-B-Que and a pint of slaw from Lexington BBQ #1. Welcome aboard.I know you're going to love your 190 Bay. You'll really enjoy saltwater fishing with it compared to High Rock lake. Let me know if you are coming down my way and I'll give you some info to look up before you come. You can get some ideas where to fish out of or at.

John,

I'll tell you what! I might would be able to do that this weekend but if not I will keep in touch and get you that BBQ this summer. I love to fish out of Morehead City and will be picking up the Boat at Blackbarry Marine in Southport, NC. Close to Bald Head Island. I'm sure that you know where I'm talking about. I will be there on Saturday around midday. Probably going to put the boat in the water and fish a little while down. It is KILLING me right now...... I got one heck of a deal on a 2007 Bay that is LOADED with all of the goodies!!!!! Thanks, Jeremy

Jeremy,
I know Blackbarry Marine very well.I've bought 2 Triumphs from them just because they are so good after the sale. I was kidding about the BBQ,I'm from Lexington originally and its hard to forget that style of BBQ. Theres not much bitting inshore right now but you can go out to AR420 or AR 425 if the wind co operates and catch some black sea bass and maybe a few trout. Keep my info handy and PM me after you get her broken in.Maybe we can buddy boat some this season and go off shore. I have a 2008 195CC.

Lancasters BBQ ain't bad over here in Mooresville, NC either.

I'm glad it's May.........I'll be fishing out of Wilmington alot now that it's warm. I hit 30 miles offshore in April and boated 5 bonito, some very nice beeliners and a amberjack.......no kings...water still a bit cool...........but all that's changed now. It's fixing to turn on for just about anything you want.

Tight Lines and plenty of BBQ for all!

Gator,
I read your post on another fishing website. I live in Wilmington,NC. I can't wait to get out Friday and Sat. to catch something. They've been catching some large Bluefish the last few days between Wrightsville Bch. and Fort Fisher, one up to 33" long. Quite a few 12-15 pounders caught.

Glad to know there are some brother-triumphers in Wilmington. I've only seen one other Triumph since I've owned mine and fished out of WB (Feb. '07)..........I'll be down May 12-14'ish, depending on weather, then again June 5-8'ish.............should be a good bite going by then.
Tight LInes and I'll stay in touch. What handle do you use on the water?
Gator
