Great Boat

I personally have seen this boat, and would like to add that it is extremely well taken care of. It is hard to find a boat that contains every important fishing option you can imagine, but this one has it and more. It would make a great buy for any fisherman.

P.S with that honda vtec 150 on the back you better hold on.

190????

If Timwimer moves anywhere it will be to the 191f/s with a 175 suzuki, but I know this boat would be perfect for an avid fisherman who is more interested in just fishing than skiing, partying, and fishing.

timwimer, the 191 FS is rated at a maximum 150 HP, so you will not be able to put a 175 Suzuki on it. As passionate as you seem about Capt. Karl's boat, maybe you ought to consider it. Like MolarBoater, I've already got my 190 Bay.

Sorry, it won't fit in my garage. Besides, I've finally gotten my 170CC rigged the way I want it...don't need to start over on another project boat. I wonder if he realizes that this is an owner's web site...as in "I already own a boat" web site.

actually jack although the brochure happens to say the max hp on the 191 is 150 I happen to work at a triumph dealership. If you take a look at the plate inside the boat, It is rated for a 175. Triumph keeps saying they are going to lower the rating, but it has not been done yet. Even if they do eventually lower it, I will still be able to get a used one. the brand new 08's are rated for a 175. One day I will have one with a 175 suzzzuk. Thanks for the input though. Sorry it took so long to get back.

timwimer, you're probably right about that. On Triumphboats.com, they list the maximum weight for a motor as 565 pounds, and rated for a 150 HP for the 191 FS, and the maximum weight for a 190 Bay is 510 pounds, and rated for a maximum 150 HP. That's an extra 55 pound maximum weight rating for the 191 FS. With the dry weight of a 191 FS wo/engine only being 50 pounds more than a 190 Bay, the 191 FS ought to perform well with a 175 HP.
