The Borg have a new IE 8 Browser out

And here is a video link for you to review it's features before loading it on your PC

Internet Explorer 8: Launch videos

Now if the toys all work, it should save you some time when looking for stuff. Sure looks like to me, that the Borg are trying (again/still) to assimilate all the other toys I have (like the Google Tool Bar) that I have loaded in IE 7.0, into their I.E 8 program... This is not new for them thogh. I am still partial to using Goggle for my searches though I will use the "Live Serach" feature in IE 7, but ti always seems to me to take long than Goggle does. However, I will give it (IE 8.0) a test run and see how this new puppy works and just how long it takes for me to remove it! Ha-Ha...

One a side note, in dealing with a issue with Randy on his Tackle Money site... I did download and also now use the latest Apple Safari browser Apple - Safari - Download and on some sites since it "appears" that it can stream some types (but not all) online video feeds faster... Something you may want to also download and try since it is free IF you are also having issues with some pages you are trying to view and use now on either IE or another browser you may have loaded.

Like any program though no one does it all very well, thus I do not mind having two programs to do the same thing. My only issue with such, is keeping my IE favorites in-sync with my Safari bookmarks since I now use both and always making changes to them in IE which can be a pain at times.

So if you are brave, try out the new IE 8 browser and let me know how you like it and I will do the same

Firefox is a good little browser, but I know of a lot of businees related web applications that it will not run and that I why I cannot use it

IE 8 has some nice toys, but I just had to remove it on my desk PC since I could not get it to run (strange enough) one of Micorsoft own browser based applications. As soon as I rolled back to IE 7 it started working again thus it is pretty plain to see where the issue resides. I still have it on my laptop though. Here again it is only Beta 2 and hopefully the next Beta release will corrrect those issues.

Ie 8

I understand completely. I also have those work related issues that mandate I keep IE installed but Firefox is definitely my first choice. It doesn't surprise me one bit that a new version of a Microsoft product isn't compatible with other Microsoft products. If I ever meet Bill Gates in a dark alley, look out cause I have some words for him.
