Lightbulb Eye of the Storm Screen Saver

Though I am not a big fan of screen savers (not needed anymore and can be CPU hogs even when not running) I do enjoy a good software tool that collects data. Since it is that time of the year again “Hurricane Season” I thought all of us South East Boys could have a use for this one that is free and I have used for years and really find handy… It is located about half way down on the screen.

Just remember that you really need at least a fair 3d video card able to run Open GL code for it to really work well. And for you Matrox Dual Monitor fans out their like me, yes it will scale across your 2 monitors very well J

Enjoy and stay safe!

Dave

p.s. any configuration questions you may on this software, feel free to just drop me a line...

The last few days and for the next few would be a excellent time to load this screensaver and see how it works! So much for fishing for the next few days though bummer...

Was considering "waxing up" the helm area and taking the boat out to go play in the surf And to all my family in LA (Lower Alabama) get your head down, here comes another one...

Stay Safe...
Dave

With all the storms in both the Alantic and Pacific right now, this is a good time to download and install this screen saver . Matter of fact, I don't ever remember a time that it was tracking this many storms all at once

We'll I say one thing about the storms... you'll never know what you'll catch after a storm blows through. I managed a couple of hours fishing before I had to return to Thailand. I caught this one just up from the house in West Fowl river, which is just north of Dauphin Island. I had been watching the fish most of the week chasing bait while I cleaned up the yard and patched the roof.

Great fish! Is this the same species that they have tournements on all over the Gulf? I have seen them on the TV fishing shows and its a big deal if they get a 10lb fish.

That is a great piece of software. Especially when you have to keep up with more than one ocean.

Its the same red as the ones in the tournaments. I think they have length limit. Red fish can get pretty big as are called bull red small ones are called rat reds. Don't know why.
