Thumbs up Nice free tidal program

Located here http://wxtide32.com/ is a free tidal program that I have used for a few years and is a fine tool to have on your PC. It was just updated and now inculdes a nice little task bar icon (when running either full screen or mininized) to show the current tidal direct from your location of choice...

After installing the program, the graph settings can be somewhat confusing so here is how I have mine set

And here is my changes to the color (I only change the night background color) and font changes that make it eaiser to view on the screen

Enjoy!
Dave

Very neat program. I am sure we will use it many times.

Thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed it Vic!
Just make sure that when the program is running that you "left click and hold" on the screen to get your sun and moon rise information for the date in question...

One last thing, I got a few notes from some of the guys that they were having problems viewing some of these features. Simple fix, just make sure you have the program set (check mark by) "Graph" in the file menu and those settings above should apper with no problems

Tight Lines!

Version 4.5 was just released here not long ago. I tried to attach it to this note, but it was too large so you will have to still go to the web site to download it...

Try pulling the software from a different server before unzipping. I had an issue in getting the last version and from what I recall used (I believe) the server located in Minnesota.

I find it accurate enough for pre-trip planning use and about the same level of performance as my Garmin 172c on-board chart. Here again, they more than likely both use the public NOAA tidal database for the program and besides, you can't beat the cost

Now without getting into a huge troubleshooting thread (that is better reserved the chat room in real time) let me know the tidal station you are trying to pull up and I will test it on mine... If it works for me, then the trouble is "in your set" as they use to say...
