Raymarine DS400X Fishfinder

Was looking to purchase a new fishfinder. Has anyone had any experience with the performance of the Raymarine DS400X model?

One of my fishing partners has this unit and loves it. From what I seen it works great and shows bait as bait (some anolog models may show a single big fish on a tight bait ball instead of bait). The only down side I have heard is the 400 is not as easy to view in sunlight as the 500 and 600 models. When my Garmin is gone I am planning on switching to this raymarine series. The clarity & definition is way better than my Garmin on showing what is down on the bottom.

i have the dx500 and my only regret is i didnt figure out a way to come up with the extra $200+ to buy the dx600. ops:

it has the most precise seperation of any d/f i have ever seen.

i owe it to my being able to catch striped bass from 20lbs. to 35lbs. yesterday!!!!!
