Forgot to mention before that Dr. Adams is covering this material with the Fly Fisherman in mind. Now I use to fly fish and tie my own flies (just dress up my jigs and crankbait hooks now) so when he talks about the different fly patterns, some may not know how those flies appear to convert that knowledge into your standard jig and plugs selections...
So I found this web site that has a long list of saltwater fly patterns in color pictures http://www.saltwaterflies.com/theflies.html so if Dr. Adams talks about one kind of fly that you many not know how it looks? Just go look it up at the site above and match it up size (if possible) and color wise to what you have in your box now  And let those drags sing! Dave |
