Headed to Catalina Saturday 3/3

Hey there - just wanted to see if anyone else is headed out to Catalina this weekend?

Weather looks perfect for a trip out to the island.

Since the server seems to have dropped my input - I'll post it again. Some folks sent me comments - I couldn't get to them and now there gone.

We had a blast Saturday. The trip out was like being on a lake. Seriously it was like glass. We ran out to Catalina and averaged about 35 mph the whole way. We fished the south end for about an hour - got a few bites but didn't boat anything. We then worked our way up the East side of the island stopping at all our usual locations. The weather was pretty nice the whole day. As the afternoon went on the high clouds came in and it cooled off a little. We stayed at Catalina until just after 1 pm. We headed in and there was a little more chop until we reached about mid channel, then it was pretty smooth the whole way home.

Wonderful day on the water, even if we didn't catch anything!

Hey I'm not worried at all!

The fact that this site even exists at all is a testament to you and your work for this community. I don't mind rebuilding what I posted - especially if it saves you some work.

No worries at all.

Bill

Thanks Bill. I've got all the registrations current again and I did not see any other posts to this thread. I think we're current again.
