Pacific Halibut

Here is a photo of friend Kevin holding his 60" halibut caught today out of Newport Oregon in 235' of water. This is a pretty nice halibut for Oregon waters. Should scale out around 70 lbs.

Had a beautiful day on the water, no wind or waves. Just sun and good fishing with good friends.

That is a nice halibut. We have gone out only once down here in humboldt and didn't get anything. The weather was bad and the swells were up. Hope to get out and catch some this year.
