albacore 7-7-07

We heaeded out west into us waters, since my mex boat permit expired. We chose what we call out here the 182 high spot, since I read some post earlier on the temp break website that albacore were biting in that area. WELLLLL I guess 500 plus others heard the same thing, WOW what a parking lot. We managed to get 2, so the skunk was off, and the blood was on.

Genelie,

Not trying to outdo you. Thought you might be interested in my trip on 7-3-07 that netted my friend and I 13 of the long finned bullets. Only one other boat around and a beautiful day on the water. We have lots of albacore up and down the Oregon coast this year. Sorry, no photos.

Nice fish. I noticed that http://www.pacificedgetackle.com/ said it was wide open out there!

Glad to see it was true, more or less. How was the ride out? About how far out is the 182 High Spot?

Thanks,
Bill
