My first Redfish
I had a great day fishing today on my Christmas trip to St Augustine. We fished the jetties of the St.Johns river in Jacksonville. I got my first red fish. 26 in. just over 5 lbs. It was a great trip. We got a couple speckled trout, a couple yellow mouth trout and some whiting. We caught numerous specks that were just short of keeping. grand time...I should have towed my 210 down. I would have spent the whole week on the water.

I Think They Call The Yellow Mouths Grey Trout Up Here In Carolina--could Be Wrong.. Still Can't Get Off The Dance Floor Long Enough To Get After Anything!!! Hoping For A Rudee Inlet Trip Or 2 Later For Stripers.

Congratulations on your first redfish. May there be many more ahead...they are fun to fight. I get an adrenaline rush when I'm fighting one of the big ones.
