Snapper Season begins!

Any Gulf of Mexico owners planning on going snapper fishing this weekend? Have plans to go off of Gulf Shores, AL to see what's biting....weather permitting of course.

I'll trade you a few snapper for some yellowtail.

Too bad Triumphs don't come in 60' size cause that's what we would had needed this past weekend to get out in the Gulf.....and plenty of them stayed in too! Maybe next month, too many cold fronts crashing down.

Snapper

Molar, Doc & I got out last Thursday and Friday in 1' to 2' seas. We limited out both days on Red snapper. Largest red snapper was 29# as we had 5 that went over 15#. Hopefully I will get a chance to post about it with some pictures TU or Wed.
Hope you have better conditions next time.
Tums
