22 hours in rough sea's for one long fin

Well folks that is all she wrote for us. We left Mission Bay At 8:30 pm friday night....Arrived 100 miles south into Mexico about 7:30 am...doing about 8 knots. Sea's were rough as heck. We were on a 28 foot boat, and 33, and 43 foot boats were turning tail about 10:00Am. But we stuck it out untill about noon until we landed this boy. To bad it was all we could find. We lost 1/4 of our bait as it was being tossed right out of the bait tank. another 1/4 was rolled / dead due to the rough sea's. I myself....well my body told me it was to rough at about 2:00 am as I chummed over the rail....but only once..I was fine after that.....22 hours....I was so happy when we docked!!! My body is still sore, by lower back espeacially.

I was reading that about a week ago all the sportfishing boats came back due to huge seas down in Mexico. Glad you had fun other than chumming over the side.
