Introduce yourself CA owners!

OK folks, now that NCAngler has set a forum up for us folks in Southern California, lets get acquainted.

I just acquired a 2005 Bay 190 with a 115 Yamaha. I have it located down at Huntington Harbour. I spent the afternoon installing my VHF antenna and the radio mount. Next time it will be to hook up the power and the "hail" speaker.

Boat is not named at this point.....still working on it.

Chris

I have a 2005 215CC - Big Dog. I live in Corona and put her in the water at Newport and Alamitos Bay.

I frequently fish the Huntington Flats and Catalina.

BIll-

Any runs to Catalina planned? Would like to buddy boat over there to gain some experience. We have a 2006 215, wife and two kids, girl 11, boy 7. We are up near Beaumont, CA. I've been to SD, Mission Bay and La Jolla kelp.

Hi

I'm up in the SF bay area, east of Oakland a bit. What do you guys think, would a 170 be able to handle the trip to Catalina? I've thought about it but haven't ventured that far into the salt yet. I need a VHF first. Glad to meet ya.

Central Cal

I live in Three Rivers, near Sequoia National Park. I have made a few trips out to the Channel Islands with my new 08, 215. I am looking for someone to show me the central coast if anyone boats and fishes there. Thanks. Steve

I live in the San Fernando valley area and usually make my mad dashes to the Channel Islands when ever possible. Anybody in the area?
