Advice Needed. Looking for a decent...

...Color Chartplotter/FF expandable, in the $1,400 range. I looking hard at the Standard Horizon 1000C. I like the fact it has a huge 10+" screen...for my ailing eyes.

Anything I should be aware of? Anyone have opinions on other brands? Something I should look at instead?

Thanks.

I have a Standard horizon chart GPS Love it, it is so simple to use. I just wish i bought the bigger and colored screen. I have the furuno 600L fish finder. AWESOME unit. It has one of the most powered units out there. so you can see that bottom clearly.
