T-top bag suggestions

I need a T-top bag for my 215. The Kwik Tech T-bags are only about $50, but I found this brand http://www.yachtsee.com/TpakOffshorenew.htm# and it looks like it is quite a bit nicer for only about $60 more. Does anyone have any experience with these or know if there is another brand I should take a look at?

Thanks
Bob Tully

I have had good luck with the T-Bag brand and it mounts easily. I have a BoatMates that hasn't held up so well and can't imagine why anyone would put plastic D-rings as part of a retention system(@$40). I use two bags by the way, one for life jackets mainly and one up front for towels, clothes, etc. I would buy another T-Bag without question.

I also have a T-Bag and like it very much. Sturdy for the cost. Purchased at Boaters World over two years ago. Still looks like new. Holds 4 full size type II life jackets and lots of little things in two zippered storage pouches. Has net style top for good ventilation also, nylon zippers. Mounts with wide adjustable straps. I used black zip ties to hold the center support D rings to the t-top center bar. I can't imagine getting more value for the money.

Check them out.

I too have the t-bag. Love it. The only down fall was the rubber band type sinch string at the bottom of the bag. It wore out within the first year. No big deal . I replaced with normal shoe string type material.

Just contacted T-Bag and all of their T-top offerings are on hold due to supplier problems.

T-top storage

http://www.rivermarinesupply.com/xca...roductid=11195

After all, it's just a bag with velcro or other straps to suspend it between two supports.

I have two T-bags and may not need one of them but I won't know till I pickup the new Chaos. It comes with a bag so I'll probably sell one of my T-bags. I'll post a note when I know for sure. THanks.

SCJERRY, That boatmates bag looks like a great but. Very similar to the T-Bag brand I was talking about. I also use two small ATV size bungee webs to carry extra PFD's under the front of the t-top. It works very good, tucks up out of the line of sight and was cheap (9.95 each) with no metal parts to rust.
