Thanks...Just read it and I'm supprised (not) my dealer hasn't gotten in touch with me. He still has some things to fix with the boat.

Take care of that ankle and good luck with the upcomming visit/R.E. search...

Paul

What is the implication of this???

Hello, it seems that I am way behind the power curve on this one. I was wondering if anyone could shed a little light on what the trailer recall is for and what year/model boats it affects. My guess from what I can read in the threads is that Triumph finally decided to take the hull deflections in the 190's seriously and that the trailer is the suspected "weak" point. I am trying to get up to speed on this and would appreciate some feedback.

Thanks.

Unkl Jessie,

The recall only concerns the boats made after Genmar bought Triumph. Our 186's are not covered by this. If you call Triumph they will send you the bulletin with the illustrations, but they told me it would cost about $200 to buy the parts. Their reasoning for only covering Genmar hulls is that prior to their purchase, Logic only sold hulls, and the dealer "packaged" the boats. They feel that they should only be responsible for boat/trailer packages that they (Genmar) have put together. At least thats what I got ou of the conversations with Bryant at Triumph.
