2002 Trailer Mod Unhappy

Picked up my 14 Hr 19 Bay and after her first launching I was told to put the bolts in the front V bracket since they had never been installed. Wow it sure is making a big depression up there I will be taking the bolts back out I hope tomorrow if the weather lets me get to the lake. Question has anyone else found it disturbing to look at the big depressions caused buy the full installation of the trailer mod. The Mod meets all of the specifications under the recall and the installation was performed by the dealer except for the V bracket being bolted. The hull deflections were not present when the V was not bolted do to the bracket sitting on the cross member bar .75 inches lower. Should I remove the bolts and just let the hull sit on the V?

Did your dealer do the winch adjustment to allow the boat to sit on the trailer in a neutral position? My boat had the same deflections until I adjusted the winch properly. Please go to page two of this forum and look at the thread named “Trailer recall?”. You can also go to my picture section and see the proper position of the winch. I have the recall letter somewhere (I just moved) and could send a PDF copy if you need it (I think I can find it). The letter gives dimensions and shows the correct mounting of the winch.
Let me know.
